As I am passionate about coaching, and read as much as I can about the subject, I couldn’t miss listening and reading Anthony Robbins and Bob Proctor’s materials.

I like very much Bob Proctor’s program, “The 11 Forgotten Laws”, which has wonderful stories, very well translated into the real life. The stories provide you with a clear understanding of the cause-effect relation of our actions into our life. Also, “The Goal achiever” or “You were Born Rich” programs are valuable and designed to help you create the mentality of a successful person.

Anthony Robbins is a practical coach; his programs have very clear steps, easy to follow by anyone, to create a better life system. I like also the diversity of his programs; you can work on your body, mind, relationship and business at the same time. Because all the areas of your life are connected, if you work on one you affect the other ones too, even if you want it or not. The key is to maintain them all in balance. And this is what Mr. Robbins is offering, a balanced life.

In my opinion both of them are great coaches, although quite different and therefore an analysis between themselves looked very interesting. Find below my insights regarding their work.

Pros

Anthony Robbins

Bob Proctor

  • A great motivator and inspirational coach

"He has a great gift. He has the gift to inspire." President Bill Clinton

  • He is very structured and clear. His programs offer you practical steps to follow to create the results you want in many areas of your life.
  • Big variety of programs adapted for the main areas of your life: health, wealth, business, relationships
  • He is the man of results; he helped a lot of people, including many celebrities to improve their lives. You can find many testimonials about his work on the internet.

  • An old school coach with 50 years’ experience in the personal development field
  • As Tony Robbins, he turned his life around from a life full of materials and personal challenges to a successful one
  • He is a great thinker and his materials are very pleasant, logical and diverse, full of interesting insights about the mechanics of the human mind
  • “This man has the ability to reduce the most complicated concepts in life to the simplest form. He can and does explain how to turn any idea you can think of into physical results."
    Vic Conant,
    President, Nightingale-Conant Corporation

Cons

Anthony Robbins

Bob Proctor

  • His voice can be irritant
  • Has an aggressive style, very motivating but sometimes aggressive

  • A man of theory, of thinking more than results
  • Still in the old style, not adapted to the 21st century

As conclusion, in my opinion, Tony Robbins is a great choice for the current times; his coaching solutions are more practical and useful to our society, he is a wonderful motivator with programs developed for each sector of your life.
