September 2009 I created the San Francisco Writers Community. In 2011 we expanded to include a Co-Publishing Studio, both of which I currently manage.
Since 2006, my professional focus has been content creation and marketing for online businesses, working with social media resources, social media tools and other web 2.0 media resources to build online communities and ongoing conversations with the communities in order to track and raise ROI.

· August 2011–Feb 2012 Contract - Director of Social Media, The On3 Group The On3 Group is a nation-wide, full-service advertising agency providing the entire cycle of marketing services, including: creative, strategy, planning, development, execution and analytics with core communications competencies in emerging digital interactive, traditional print, and social media.
Oversaw the creation of the social media strategy and implementation of tactics by the social media brand teams for each of On3’s clients.

As social media research and metrics manager I helped to implement the processes and systems to gather, package and interpret data from social media channels in order to create metrics that quantify the aspects of social media marketing. We built bigger and better tools to show the ROI, and power of social media.

Within this group, run through Meetup.com, I provide workspace and workshops to help writers create their work and websites, and build their fan bases and marketing plans.

Cognito Comics presents socio-political and world issues to the general public through the engaging mediums of comics, animation, and games.
At Cognito Comics, I structured the online community adding to the social media tools they were currently using.I designed, built and managed Cognito’s online community, as they were getting ready to launch their next big product.

Ra Ranked as one of the “Top 50” Business Meetup groups in the nation, the Webeneur Meetup Group helps individuals and businesses start and grow their businesses online.
Within this group, run through Meetup.com, I provide workshops to help small businesses create their websites and build their marketing plans.
· 2007 Author of Impulse! – How to Increase Your Sales and Power of Persuasion with a Fun and Easy System.
I wrote IMPULSE! with the express purpose of learning online sales and marketing. I set up a mailing list and sold the book as an e-book and home study course that included a workbook with an audio companion.
· 2002-2005 Founder and Director of operations, recruiting, and sales training, Local Advantage, Inc., an advertising and sales based fund raising company in the state of Ohio.
Clients include: Summa Health Systems, Papa Johns, Midas, Pizza Hut, Arby’s, Longhorn Steakhouse, Taco Bell, McDonalds, Burger King, Ponderosa, Firestone and Subway.
While at Local Advantage, I ran the main office and developed the sales system. I hired, trained, and managed a sales team ranging from 5-20 salespeople at a time. When we had matured the market I sold my half of the company to my business partner.
