Ton is a an Executive and Business Coach, former trainer at the International Coach Academy (ICF accredited) , former General Manager of Praesta International, Ltd., member of the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) International Certification Expert Panel and Board member of the WABC International Accreditation Panel. He is the owner of the Executive Coaching firm Quest Coaching.

As an Executive Coach he facilitates behavioral change processes with high level executives on becoming more effective leaders.

Before starting his own business Ton served as a change manager, interim manager and program manager within various organizations. The key word was change and leading change. His first coach training he received in 1993 while doing volunteer work as a psycho-social worker at the SOS Telephone Help Service while studying organizational psychology.

In 2002 he focused on leadership development entirely when coaching high potentials and senior executives within a major Dutch Insurance company. He was also the senior executive responsible for the implementation of competency management, a Human Resources Development Program and had the overall responsibility for an assessment centre for new employees.

Ton started his career in the military (1982-1992) as a national conscript with the Royal Dutch Military Police. Interested in expanding his leadership competencies, he continued his military career and served an additional 7 year contract with the Royal Netherlands Air Force. He was stationed in Germany and has lived and worked as an officer (Captain) on various international positions. In 1992 Ton made a career switch and took his experience and training as a leader in a military environment into the public domain.
