Liz Webb

In 1996 Liz founded United Foundation for Patient and Family Humanities, Inc. 501(c)3, and authored and published the first internet magazine, Ask Emilyss Health Info & Support Magazine in which, as Emilyss, she hosted an advice column for 100,000's of people in need of her help.

She has sat as chair on many boards of directors for foundations all over the country, acted as an advisor for a number of pharmaceutical companies to assist in finding better ways to serve patients,  and is also a nationally known speaker in over 40 cities; including a live national press conference with C.Everett Koop, the former US General in Washington DC, and presented a 300 patient quality of care survey to world known physicians at the National Institutes of Health.

She has worked as a street outreach worker in a number of cities, broken into condemned insane asylums to get stories for her magazine,  and provided help via email and phone to people the world over.  Her internet work includes guest speaking at WebMD, Expert Central, and other educational venues.  She has been keynote speaker and presenter for a number of conferences from world professional down to local support groups around the country.

In 2000 she was nominated for Oprah Winfrey's 'Remembering Your Spirit,' Use Your Life Award, and Robert Woods Johnson Leadership Award, as well as Madison's Who's Who Registry Edition where her biography was highlighted.  She has appeared on numerous television programs and print interviews - to date numbers to 35 around the country.
