Erika Gordon

My realization of my interest in the field of helping people did not come until my son needed me the most back in 2003.  One incident lead to the next and it felt like a never ending rollercoaster that my family was going through.  After picking up all the pieces and making the situation be one that would actually end up helping my family in the long run, I decided that I need to share what I went through with people around me going through similar sitautions.  At first it started as just a hobby and I would have people calling me that have mutual friends and I would sit with them on the phone for hours talking them important steps.  Then, I realized that I need to get some more education in this field and turn it into a full time career, so that I don't only have to help people like me, but people with all different kinds of situations as well. Though I am sad it came to me later in life, I am happy that I finally have come to realize my true calling and passion in this world.
