In the past I worked within the mental health system for a little over 15 years as an Art Therapist and Mental Health Case Manager. At a pivotal point in my life I made a significant transition from Therapist to Life Coach. Although Therapists and Life Coaches do provide a similar role, helping people improve their lives, there is a significant difference. Therapists function through the mental health system, with a medical model for healing. This primarily involves approaching the "patient" with an assumption that there is some kind of illness, disease, abnormality or condition that needs to be treated. Therefore, the therapist’s job focuses on making a diagnosis and treating the condition, generally with the goal of treatment being achieving a state of normalcy. This medical model is even employed when offering relationship counseling. However, a life coach does not begin the process with any assumption of illness. Instead I came to a point where I realized that my gifts were better utilized encouraging people to explore higher heights and expanding their possibilities, over merely maintaining a status quo of "normal". For the past 8 years or so I have offered my services as an alternative and spiritual healer, focusing on transforming body, mind and spirit. The current services that I offer are:
Love Life Coaching: Verbal sessions to discuss ways to improve love, intimacy & relationships, over the phone or in person.
Tantra Sessions: Interactive hands on sessions for couples or individuals to connect with their energy, their sensuality and most importantly to their partner.
Reiki Massage Sessions: energetic healing combined with therapeutic massage & bodywork for transforming body, mind and spirit.
I am in the process of writing and illustrating a book on improving intimacy called, "Seven Secrets of Sexual Savvy". Let me know if you would like to be on the waiting list for a signed copy when this book becomes available.
