Kathleen Matchunis

I have a background in education, holding both a B.A. in Spanish and an M.S. in Educational Leadership.  I coach both adults and teens.  I work with adults on parenting issues, work/life balance, as well as goal-setting. I assist individuals identify, clarify, visualize, and realize their goals.

I coach teens in the area of "skills for success", which includes all the social skills necessary to be a success.  I cover introducing oneself, starting and maintaining a conversation, conflict resolution, dealing with adults in authority, anger/frustration issues, as well as becoming  self-advocates, who can express their needs assertively, rather than aggresively.  I use role-playing in my practice, so teens will get the practice they need in these valuable social skills.
