Leon van der Poel

Coaching and mentoring is something that I have now been involved with for over 10 years, in addition to 20+ years of international business experience. During this time I have helped business reduce cost and liabilities, create a partnering strategy, as well as increase revenues.

In the early 2000's I became a mentor in the Vancouver Board of Trade Leaders of Tomorrow program. This was a great experience and I enjoyed working with all the leaders I had the privilege of working with.

I am a mentor with the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF), helping young entrepeneurs succeed in their business. The CYBF is a national charity dedicated to championing tomorrow’s entrepreneurial nation builders. The organization invests time and money in aspiring young entrepreneurs (age 18-34), who have a great business idea, but find it hard to obtain financing or mentoring through traditional sources.

In additional to dedicating a lot of time over the years to personal growth and development, I am a trained solution-focused coach.
