Versatile health educator, facilitator, coach, speaker and trainer with almost twenty years combined experience in the areas of cancer, HIV, CAM (complementary/alternative medicine), wholistic health practices, and women’s health issues. A community focused, impact-oriented leader who equally appreciates being part of a team. A motivated supervisor and national speaker able to establish rapport and create impact with students, staff, health care professionals, diverse audiences and communities. Equally adept at managing, creating and implementing office and program systems in a variety of organizational settings. I am seeking a position where I can work on innovative health/fitness support systems as a trainer, educator and/or Integrative Health Coach©.
Note: Integrative Health Coach© (IHC) is a title I coined to describe my work and background. IHC is a multi-faceted approach to aligning life and wellness through the use of personalized conversation, planning, and encouragement. My knowledge and skills as a fitness professional, Co-Active Life Coach, nutrition consultant, and yoga instructor inform my assisting others while holding in mind the goal of overall balance in body, mind, and spirit.

* Sensitive Providers Can Make A Difference is a program I developed through the use of personal stories gathered, current research, and outreach strategies to inform health care providers of the challenges faced by marginalized women living with cancer.
**Breaking the Barriers is a program I developed to discuss outreach strategies, and marginalized women’s health education and prevention models and materials.
***Removing the Barriers a comprehensive cultural competency program (developed with funding from the CDC) on providing health care to marginalized women. It covers overview of culture and its relation to health for marginalized women, clinical screening guidelines and health risk factors for women through the use of role plays, case studies and videos.
