It has 2,400 employees, operates subsidiaries in 16 countries and is amongst the largest European companies leading in R&D investments. Since June 2006, INTRACOM TELECOM is controlled by JSC SITRONICS (Russia) with 51%.

10/2007 – today: Recruitment & Succession Planning Manager

·        Recruitment & Selection: Manage a team of four people. Communicate & cooperate with line managers for their staffing needs, liaise with group subsidiaries’ CEOs for HR issues, conduct international HR market research for finding suitable candidates (e.g. Saudi Arabia, Sub-saharian Africa, Malaysia, India, Russia & CIS, Europe), liaise with legal department and review draft contracts with consultants and employees, prepare and review company procedures for recruitment & career development, steer job analysis project, select employees for middle to senior management positions, conduct exit interviews, launch recruitment campaigns in Greece and abroad, prepare reports for top management. Participate in cross-functional projects regarding Trade Compliance, SAP implementation, Security of Information, Audits, etc.

·        Succession Planning: manage a team of four to implement an internal knowledge-based system for job rotation program, evaluate managers’ proposals for employees’ promotions, prepare guidelines to create a succession plan for all key positions, prepare career development manual, deliver presentations to management team. Participate in performance appraisal procedure, review criteria and suggest alterations.

·        Project Management:  Managed a team of five to implement SAP-HR module

·        CSR issues:  Act as internal auditor for Social Accountability 8000 standard, represent company to semi-annual external audits conducted by third party as well as represent company to CSR for a and Hellenic Network of Corporate Social Responsibility and Global Compact.

4/2004 – 9/2007: Senior Recruitment Professional

In addition to the recruitment responsibilities mentioned previously, design and prepare the company’s proposal for getting the respective accreditations for Social Accountability International and FTSE4Good Index, act as an internal auditor for Social Accountability International SA-8000 and FTSE4Good, conduct social corporate responsibility campaigns, roll-out CEO’s communication scheme, design and write company’s social annual reports.

Evaluate CVs, post advertisements in web sites, liaise with career offices, write specs for existing Oracle-based system to handle and rotate candidates’ CVs via the internal web, create internal web site for internal ads, manage job rotation program, write company’s procedure for internal transfers of employees. Deliver the job orientation program for new employees.
