Solano County Mental Health,  1999-2011

 Team leader, The Cornerstone Program (2000-2011)

Management and leadership of staff members in an intensive treatmentprogram that sought to modify client behaviors through daily coaching.  Utilized behavior modification, conflict management and skills building techniques.  Facilitated trainings of both clients and staff.  Worked with professionals from multiple disciplines to design, implement and evaluate various programs. Handled contract negotiations. Organized events that involved hundreds of employees from departments throughout the County.

Led and directed 75 volunteers. Handled benefits advocacy and crisis management. Developed and led support groups for people with HIV/AIDS and for those who had lost loved ones. Managed food pantry and hot meal program. Directed expansion of food pantry to accommodate increased needs and food availability. Designed and implemented a tracking system to accommodate the increase in clients.
