Rebecca Macfarlane

I am a highly skilled corporate trainer, leadership and organizational development specialist, and a business start-up coach.  I have over 15 years experience in helping organizations and the people within them identify their strengths and develop themselves to improve organizational performance.

As a self-professed professional development addict, I have constantly sought to grow my skills throughout my life in traditional and non-traditional ways.  After attending university and pursuing a BcS in Elementary Education, I attended Ashridge Business School in the U.K. where I was awarded a diploma in public sector leadership.  I am a certified assessor for two European business improvement quality awards, and hold two professional coaching qualifications. 

I spent ten years living and working in the U.K., first as a strategic planner for an organization repsonible for business improvement initiatives throughout Europe and South Africa, and more recently with the organization responsible for child protection across Scotland.  I have worked in five different countries including the U.K. and South Africa. 

In 2011, I returned to the USA and founded a business coaching company, Turning Stones Coaching and Consultancy.  I now focus on training and coaching solo and social entreprenuers as they build the foundations necessary for successful, thriving "do-good" businesses.
