1)      “Respect Your Past; Enrich Your Future”

a)      Overview

i)        When it comes to the sources of drug or domestic abuse, marital strife, or other social and relationship deficiencies, many instantly point to their past and childhood for the origins of conflicts they experience. Yet we live in the present with no clear vision, cognizant personal identity, or strategies to guide our actions and future. Even worse, we transfer a similar “spray and pray” attitude of living to our dependents hopelessly paralyzed by our fears. It doesn’t have to be this way!

b)     Description

i)        We have sadly become a society and people with very minimum connection or reverence for our past and history. Information is so plentiful and instantly available (Internet, smart devices, etc.) that we rarely notice or appreciate the strategic importance of understanding the damaging cycle of our past when addressing the challenges we currently face, or the bright futures of tomorrow. Here are a few inspirational quotes to consider:

(1)   A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.

(2) A nation which has forgotten the quality of courage which in the past has been brought to public life is not as likely to insist upon or regard that quality in its chosen leaders today - and in fact we have forgotten.

John F. Kennedy

In this series of coaching sessions we will construct the strategic components of an unbeatable “successful family legacy”. Regardless of your past you will leave a legacy for your dependents (children or any you influence) by design or default. If you feel you lack conviction in who are, consequently allowing you to reject failures in relationship, marriage, parenting, career, and other critical life choices, these sessions will provide the structure and resources you need to succeed.

Here are a few components of the six phases we will engage:

1) What is “successful family legacy”?

       a. Understanding current culture and confusions

       b. What is the process of creating legacy

 2) Exploring our strengths, weaknesses, and blind spots to avoid

       a. Starting point of a renewed lineage or legacy

 3) Awareness of our current status

       a. Losing focus or losing control?

       b. The Crucible: moments of truth, refinement, & dross                       removal

 4) Vision, Solutions, Strategies, & Structure will define your               legacy

       a. Let’s define what your vision or identity is.

       b. Why must there be a change from the past?

       c. Whose agendas (not negative) ought we to consider and                 navigate?

 5) Building a preference or barrier; the adoption process?

        a. Know who/what you are up against

        b. Eliminate the awe factor of your enemy or nemesis

 6) Plan to win!

        a. We must have long-range goals to keep us from being                   frustrated by short-range failures.

         b. Strategic planning processes
