Provide direct service and support to individuals or clients, such as handling a referral for youth advocacy issues, conducting a needs evaluation, and resolving complaints, direct activities of professional and technical staff members and volunteers. Establish and maintain relationships with other agencies and organizations in community to meet community needs and to ensure that services are not duplicated. Evaluate the work of staff and volunteers to ensure that programs are of appropriate quality and that resources are used effectively. Prepare and maintain records and reports, such as budgets, personnel records, or training manuals.
Hire and/or supervise and/or evaluate program staff, effectively organize an office. Assume day-to-day responsibility for the security of the facility, supervise maintenance and cleaning, and supervise food-service programming and implementation. meet regularly with the principal and work closely with school staff, engage parents and students, identify and address their needs, plan curriculum activities and supervise implementation, verse evaluation activities of staff, develop newsletters and various public relations tools. Use Web-based communications, make presentations to the school board, businesses and community agencies, write progress reports, develop and track budgets. Complete pertinent and required district, state and national reports, write and secure grants, donations and sustainable funding for the program.
